New PGS.jpgThe Compliance Stage of PGS centers on strategy execution. The hospital, through the Office for Strategy Management chaired by Dr. Jose B. Orosa, III and co-chaired by Ms. Zarieddie D. Parilla, started operationalizing the institution’s strategic initiatives set during the Initiation Phase through execution plans of the different specialty centers like Heart, Cancer, Kidney and Neonatology Centers programmed until year 2022 and Eye, Lung, Reproductive, Geriatric and Psychiatry Centers for year 2028. Securing performance commitments of second-level units by way of cascading sessions and integrating the PGS deliverables to the Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) in order to link budgets to the strategies was done. Likewise, a communication plan was also developed and implemented to widen support to the PGS program. Externally, the Multi-Sector Governance Council (MSGC) covering different sectors who serves as PGS advisory body was formed. Moving forward, the MMMH&MC plans to strengthen its service delivery network through outreach missions and advocacy caravans to neighboring provinces, conduct collaborative and community-based researches and continuously train and hire needed manpower for the establishment of the specialty centers.
