E-PAKAAMMO: MMMHMC USAPANG KALUSUGANG SESYON

The e-Pakaammo is an online health education strategy of the Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in the conduct of health promotion and disease prevention programs by means of the digital media platform Facebook. Derived from a local dialect word which means “to inform”, the e-Pakaammo is an innovative approach of several health education campaign activities of the Public Health Unit – from recurrent health talks and lay fora, to mass media guesting and health caravans held in nearby provinces of Ilocos Norte.

MMMHMC, LGU PASUQUIN INK PARTNERSHIP FOR BLOOD PROGRAM

The Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center (MMMHMC) has signed into agreement a stronger partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Pasuquin in support of the National Voluntary Blood Services Program (NVBSP) of the Department of Health (DOH) which was held last December 22, at the Municipal Hall, Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte.

MMMH&MC YEAR-END REVIEW AND CHRISTMAS PARTY

MMM&MC’s Year-End Review transpired on December 16, 2022 attended by hospital managers and employees led by the Medical Center Chief, Dr. Ma. Lourdes K. Otayza.
Also present during the activity were Hon. Cecilia Marcos-Araneta, Vice Governor of the Province of Ilocos Norte, Mr. Johanson Chua, Chairman of the MMMH&MC’s Multi-Sector Governance Council (MSGC), the Zonta Club Ilocos Norte and the Rotary Club of Laoag Metro Ilocos Norte represented by Ms. Mitzie Delos Santos and Ms. Noralyn Espejo, respectively, and other members of the council.

Employees from the different divisions of MMMH&MC once again battled it out for glory and honor as the celebration of the Year-End Review & Christmas Program continues. The Finals of the Laro ng Lahi, Kick-off for the Sports Festival, and Family Day were held last Tuesday, December 20, at the Mariano Marcos State University Covered Court.
